Oh yeah, and SNARE!!!Ī couple of things I would like to emphasize:ġ) Though I would like to make it easy on myself in the slow-levelling world of the progression servers, my primary concern is most definately *not* picking the best three classes from a statistical or "min maxxing" point of view. It would be an easy class to bot later on. Additionally, I really like the archery aspect of the ranger class, especially with EQ/AM and /autofire.
It would be *insanely* useful on a progression server, where I would be farming fairly often for quests, tradeskill components (primarily spell research - I can't imagine doing that without a tracker), etc. Ranger - I have a ranger alt on another server, and I am flippin' addicted to tracking. If I didn't have a healer class of some sort, I would imagine an enchanter would only make sense for when aggro went the wrong way at the wrong time.Ĭleric - Best heals. Plus, it would provide tash, slow and haste. Necromancer - If I ever ended up soloing, this would probably by my favorite with all of the utility they offer, not to mention the dog nasty damage they can do.Įnchanter - Honestly, I would much prefer to pull singles than have to worry about CC, but even still the mind buffs would be huge, and CC being there if I *did* need it would be awesome as well. On a progression server, a mage's summoning spells will really come in handy.įor the other two, the classes I am most interested in would be: Honestly, I've decided that one will definitely be a mage. What I would *like* to do would be to make this trio out of classes I would also enjoy playing on their own later if I decide to cancel one or more accounts or join a guild and get into raiding. I am planning on starting over on a progression server, and I intend to start a 3-box group to do it.
